We require a non refundable deposit of half down for all our babies. This will hold your baby until its weaned. If you choose to take the piglet before weaned then you do so at your own risk. We will make sure the piglet has taken to formula feeding then the rest is up to you. Purchase price is due at time of pick up. Once the piglet is weaned, which is normally 5 to 8 weeks old, you will be notified and you have 3 business days to pick up or you forfeit your deposit unless other arrangments have been made.
We do not inbreed our pigs nor do we try to stunt their growth in any way. Down breeding can give you smaller pigs, (such as the teacup) but can cause health problems later on down the road and decreases the pigs lifespan. There is truly no such "breed" as the teacup, mico mini, or mini pot belly pig breed. All of these terms refer to the size of the parents.
Our breeders came to us as "micro mini pigs" meaning, full grown, stand below the knee aproximately 18 inches. We breed healthy adult ( 2 years old or older) pigs. At a healthy weight, the pigs we sell will range between 40 to 60 pounds full grown. A normal pot belly can weigh 200 pounds easily. When buying ask for references and make sure you are dealing with a reputable breeder. There are many people out there trying to make a buck and will say anything to make a sale. If you are going back and forth on wether to buy then you should wait. We begin working with our babies at 3 days old and continue until purchased by a family. Once we recieve a deposit we pull the baby and start getting it ready for its new home. We want all of our customers to be as happy with their piggy as we are with ours!
